Being a doctor is one the most reputed profession all over the world. It has been considered so from the earliest of times. For the patient, a doctor is the incarnation of God himself.
MBBS is a short form which stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. This is the only Bachelor's degree that can give the tag of a doctor but has its own price. A person has to go through 6 years of studies, with 5 years of extensive education and 1 year of internship.
Why the medical field?
The job opportunities in the medical field are abundant. From core practicing to research, all are available in this field. Also, if you are from this field, you can ensure a good pay in the very beginning of the job

The eligibility you need
Being in a Bachelor degree, you need to pass 12th in order to apply but the condition is to pass it in the medical field only. The theater is, having the core subjects English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. No other discipline would do.
An aggregate of over 50% is required to be eligible.
But there is a 10% relief for the reserved categories.

The entrance exams for eligibility
AIIMS: All India Institute of Medical Sciences Entrance Exam – it is a must to crack this exam in order to get admission in AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Science).
NEET: it is the exam that you need to clear in order to get admission in colleges of Bangalore, which happens to be a hub of excellent medical Colleges.
There are many other national and regional entrance exams to choose from but these two are considered very important by many.

One big constraint for me was that I did not have the option of leaving home for further studies. I wanted to pursue design and since it is not too common, finding a college, was a huge task. That is when CareerOppt came to my rescue it helped me in choosing a best college even in my own city.
